What is LEED?

 

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a green building rating system developed by the U.S. Green Building Council. It sets standards for environmentally sustainable construction.

What is Energy Star?

 

Energy Star is a program created by the U.S. government to promote energy efficient consumer products. In order to qualify as Energy Star, a new home must be at least 15% more energy efficient.
